Remote Play Together Button Not Showing Up

Trying to accomplish the daily quest of "invite to lobby". I'm aware that "remote play together" works for games like Goblin Workshop or Brawlhalla. But while I'm the game, and pop up the overlay, I only see invite to watch or lobby, didn't see option of remote play together. Please help!

Did you check your games support remote play first see screenshot.
Then you play game just to the main menu.
Use shift tab for overlay, right click friend in list and click on remote play.
example using a game in my end that supports remote play I right clicked friend then remote play. that does it.

Yes, I tried "Remote Play Together" compatible games including Goblin Workshop, Human: Fall Flat. But only shows invite to watch or lobby in the overlay.

hmm did you check if you got it anyway?
Friend is online? did they accept?
are you using family share?

Didn't get it. Friend is online. Tried invite to lobby, doesn't help. Not using family share..

I dont need to own the game apparently
Invite to lobby doesnt work use remote play together

Same thing here. The Remote Play Together was available for me yesterday, but today the button disappeared again. Can you provide details about how you fixed it?

Steam maybe busy wait for a while and then try again.
We fixed this back in 2019 by playing a supported remote play game.
As its stopped working try restarting Steam fully like in EXIT it then both of you restart Steam.
Who owns the game?
Check my screeny to set filter it's the first comment.
