Cant find proper drawing reference software on steam.
Hello, I want to learn art, but I cannot find any good drawing reference program on steam. I found couple, but they got mixed reviews and I really cannot decide. I want program, where you can place objects beside people in perspective. Thats relatively easy to use and maybe has ability to change lightsource direction and intensity or to remove skin from models and wiev muscle anatomy. Do you know anything like this pretty please?

There is no better reference than Pinterest, just open the site and search for a visual
A mirror, you, and an object.

Also, though it's called manga, it's got some very good basic information that's for any style, the How To Draw Manga books - physical books - are *excellent* for learning perspective, how to use your media, etc.

Are you trying to use a pen and pencil, or using a tablet? Using a mouse? Resources are plentiful but I would never tell you to look on Steam for them. Go to a book store.

How much there is to perspective? I red but one book, from stan lee about drawing comics. And learned all basic concepts he talks about there. Now I am learning the anatomy by trying to understand how muscles and bones work by watching different youtube videos and studiing human muscles so I can move to Brindgman anatomy book.

I will try to buy some more books. Thx for the tip. I know the store with used books, I might find something there.

A LOT goes into different forms of perspective drawings.

It's why I tend not to draw full scenes lol. Then again, eyeballing it until it LOOKS okay is often just fine - "it's better to be artistically pleasing than mathematically correct".

One reasonably cheap way to get better with anatomy is to pick up some magazines at the grocery store. (or book store if you're there lol) Men's health, vogue, fashion magazines and sports mags will have (admittedly 'shopped) many different views of people's bodies.
