Report a translation problem
- Be sure to end all steam Programs and Processes
-Maybe Reboot pc (not needed but to be really sure is better) and be sure nothing from steam will
Start with windows
-After reboot locate steam installation Folder (mostly System HDD, Programs / Programs86)
-Enter this folder and erase everything in there but not "steam.exe" and the folder "steamapps" (your Games are located there)
-If you erased everything but these 2 ones restart the System to be sure the ram also is empty and there is no leftover...
-After reboot try starting steam like you usually do like with the desktop shortcut.
The program will run and will tell you it is updating but it will reload/rebuild every steam components automatically and no games need to be reinstalled (it is basically like reinstalling steam without losing games or being in need to redownload these. For me this once did solve many many issues.. maybe it helps you too ^^
