Prison Architect DRM and Steam

I just bought Prison Architect through Humble Bundle and it gave me three options Steam key, Introversion Key and finally one to actually download the game not through steam but actually directly to my laptop its is like if you bought a game from gog.com. My question is if I download the DRM version will i be able to use this game on Steam with the Steam Community section of the game with all the extra stuff like prisons made by other people for me to play or will I not be able to use steam at all?

Nope. The DRM Free version does not link with steam in any way. Assuming it works like most other games that is.

So if i do decide to download through DRM will I still be able to play this through steam or will I have to redownload it to play it on steam?

Mind you when you get something on Humble Buyndle or store. It;s not about choosing one or the other. You have all three that you can use., You can use the standalone, and actrivate the steam key to get thr porduct on Steam. It's ju7st that only the steam version will talk with STeam (achievements Hours, etc.) Again assuming it works like just about every other game I've seen

From what you say, you got three versions of it. Only the Steam version connects to Steam services.
