Mario Maker-like games for PC?

Hello,

I'm looking forward to finding games that differ from warfare &♥♥♥♥♥♥ I've been more into Sandbox & platform lately (out of nostalgia tbh), and I wanted to know if there was any Mario Maker-like game for PC since I'm not willing to buy a Wii U just for one game.

I stumbled upon BoxMaker but it's completely dead

Are there any alternative? Either free or not? On Steam or not?

Roblox is probably the closest you will come to Mario maker. For platformer I recommend Wings of Vi. Brutal hard game but worth

There's a Mega Man Maker somewhere I think?

A number of classic games have romhacking scenes, though those may require more technical knowledge depending on what hacking tools are available.
