Missing games
Ok, so I've been missing a few of my games lately from my library, and I have no idea how to get them back. There have been times where my hard drive has crashed and my friend had helped me get all of my games back. I'm trying to find out how to do it myself, and I'm not succeeding. I've payed for them previously, but they just aren't showing up in files or my library. Please help!

Are you sure you're on the right account?

Check out your list of licenses: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/

If the games aren't there, the account doesn't own them.

Are you looking at the right list in your library? E.g. "Installed" list is open instead of "Games"?

You need to locate any email receipts which will contain the account name associated with those games. Games are bound to accounts and not hard drives and if they aren't showing on your account then as said above; it doesn't own them as licences don't just vanish without trace.

Can we conclude that you don't see them in that list?

Does your dad have a Steam account? If so, he might have been logged in when purchasing and the games are on his account.
As James stated above, search the emails you (or your dad) got after purchasing, it shows which account name purchased the games.
