Originally I thought this was caused by my Sound Driver crashing, which I replaced and that situation had not been resolved. I checked the Reliability Monitor and now the original discrepancy has just got... more confusing.
As far as I know, I do not have Citrix Workspace, unless it is installed on Windows by default. Turning off Shadow Play did not help and I don't think I'll be able to actually play any games if I force my computer to work using integrated graphics.
I'm running an i5-8300H, with a GTX 1050 Ti, (it's an Acer Model Laptop) with 8GB RAM and a 1920x1080 resolution in 144hz.
Not sure if those specs were needed but if this is a manufacturing issue then it would be nice to know, although I have had absolutely NO issues with this before and it has only started happening recently.
I have tried using the System File Checker to scan for corruptions... none found. Nothing has helped me, at all so far. Hoping someone can give me advice here.
I don't use my old PC anymore. If you find out this problem then cool I guess.
no citrix installed, and shadowplay was already disabled.
Would love more suggestions!
This has been happening to me since last summer when I first began playing Fall Guys.
I've tried everything from full wipe and fresh installs, all game overlays, everything up to date, BIOS updates, etc etc with absolutely no resolution.
I noticed unity games are a tad....glitchy, sometimes.
I'm not sure about that particular game, but for some unity games I find crashes to be resolved when running one or all of the .EXEs involved (if there's more than one, like a (Win64Shipping ish name) as Administrator in the Compatibility tab when you right click and hit Properties.
Give that a go, let me know what the result is.
