i hate my pc

i dont understand anything in my pc:-
i have 6 gb ram
i have intel i5-3230M cpu 2.60GHs
and most of strong games cant handle
but my friend’s pc worser than that
but he can run overwatch with a very good settings
can anyone tell me y my pc doing that to me?
and if i wanted to upgrade it with a cheap good upgrades
what r u recommending me?

Did you really go see your friend's pc or he just saying that his game run good even tho is at bad framerate.
I have some dudes that don't understand PC they just asume a game can launch is run good .

RAM now minimum need 8gb I think.

and your PC is a laptop ? judge from the processor.

It's all about what kind of gpu you are using. Need the full specs from both of you. Im guessing your friend has a desktop while you are using a laptop?

he has 4 ram and the same core and processor
and were both laptops

It's probably about the setup. I run so many modern games on below minimum specs because I disable all the bloat and also disabling a ton of services that I don't need. Even straight out of the box there is a ton of bloat running on most peoples pc's .

A lot of the recommended and minimum specs are put there for the average computer that runs a lot of unneeded bloat. What version of Windows are you using? Are you using Windows? I can put some info on what I did if I only knew more about your system. A quick fix would be to just get a new gfx card and more memory though , but this is what "they" bank on. I have my Windows 7 looking like win2k.Don't realy care about OS looking nice I rather have the games looking nice and working. Also you can use a USB thumb drive as extra memory as a temp fix since they are much faster than using the page file on the harddrive. Lots of tweaks to get the most out of your pc. I have Win 10 as a backup but I never use it Dual Boot all the way.

it can be so many things, from bottom to top.. just a sampling:
bios settings incompatible?
network - ddos?
hard drive - slow or fragmented or bad sectors?
graphics card slow? bad memory? bad drivers? buggy API?
cpu trying to do multi-core?
memory corrupted?
operating system running background processes?
antivirus software issue? virus issue?
game trying to use incompatible graphic shaders?
just a few things that you could lose sleep over..
with ubuntu, you can check the system log with 'dmesg'
maybe something similar on windows, idk

looks like you are running onboard video, which will not cut it for most modern games... and given that its a laptop, you likely won't be able to install a dedicated GPU (unless its one of a few very specific models)..


if you want to playing any modern games, you are probably going to want to get a new rig

you should get 8 gb of ram not 6, 8 is the norm i would say to run most games, plus i think you need a better video card

Since op won't tell us what GPU he using so I did some search and if he have a GPU it will be a GeForce gt 740m/650m or Intel HD 4k
