Do you judge players by their games (on Steam)?

Do you judge people or think less of someone if they have a specific game on their profile here on Steam? For example, I know that so-called "weebs" who play dating/eroge anime-games get judged in the forums

Personally I don't care what others play. I am a worrisome man, I have so many other
things to be bothered by ^^

Everyone judges everyone else by everything, the words they say the clothes they wear and the games they play. The only difference is how much sway that has over them.

Also this mainly applies to strangers, once you know someone it's less of an issue anyway because your interactions carry more sway than those things.

If you walk into a store and see someone dressed in weird clothes you'll think they are probably crazy and avoid them, if you see your friend wearing the same thing you'll laugh and think he is being zany today.

I don't judge people by their games but I've found that wleebs weird me out in chat way more often than non-weebs.

I judge people by the time they spent on CS:GO, TF2 and so called Meme Games. And yes - even by their User Profile, their avatars and names.

I don't actually care what people play tbh. But if they make an argument about something that corralates to a game genre or games, then you can often find the reason to their hate/love for a debate of x or y game

Is it the amount spent on the same game ergo lack of variety that makes people dislike the player, or is it the specific type of game that makes them dislike the player?

I don't judge people by it, I don't care. I like it when people have a diverse gaming list, though, can give me ideas for games to wishlist.

Sometimes. Typically when their words don't match their actions. For example "this game is trash", but yet playing it for hundreds of hours. Or "this studio is just doing cash grabs", but yet continues to buy their products. "There are so many asset flips on Steam", but yet buys them all for achievements or what have you. "This game is nothing but cheaters", but yet has a Vac ban.

Things like that. But what game a person chooses to play *shrugs* you do you. Because I don't personally see the appeal, isn't going to make me think less of someone.

I envy people who play thousands of hours of any game; especially CS:GO or TF2.

Chicks dig guys who play thousands of hours. It shows dedication and no fear of commitment.
