Steam "Stock Market"
is it possible to buy items from CS or some other game and then sell them for profit when they go up even though there is a %10 tax fee? has anyone done this for a long time and had success?

Basically, has anyone made money from an item becoming more expensive? Yes.

You can play the market like that but it requires a lot of research.

If you have enough money to "invest" in the amounts it would take to profit on the Steam Market then you should do some actual investing, mutual funds, stocks, IRA, etc.

Making genuine profit off Steam market would cost heap loads of time and if you got that much time on your hands, a real job may be a better investment.

Well any 'money' made that way will be limited to your Steam Wallet, as there is no legal method to withdraw the money.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
