Looking for RTS games/City building
im looking for a rts with city building in it like settlers or anno or something like dawn of a empire world (no age of empire etc and no scifi thing) any suggestion? i want to try spellforce 3 but i thing the series dead with the platinum edition

Frostpunk just came out the other day, don't know much about it but it might be closer to what you're looking for.

Kingdoms and Castles isn't that deep, but you have to grow a settlement while defending against viking and dragon attacks.

There's also Stronghold if you're into late 90s aesthetics.
Do you own Civ 5?

I'm kind of surprised that you haven't played Cities: Skylines yet. Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 also hold up surprisingly well.
Tropico 4 - best of the city builders I've played. Wait for a sale and get the bundle with all the DLC.
