Can't upload images to Guide
When I try to upload images to a guide, it only lets me upload one at a time. And when I click upload, the spinning progress icon stays that way forever and never uploads.

Is there a problem uploading PNGs? The images are only like 20KB big, 150px by 150px.

I am also having the same issue, I have tried uploading images via the steam client, firefox and chrome, They all get stuck on the spinning circle.

Maybe you will have more luck trying different browsers?

There is a work around but it can cause issues with the text.
You can upload the images you want to Imgur.com then paste the following code in your guide where you want the image to be.

[screenshot=1;sizeOriginal,floatleft;IMAGELINK[/screenshot]

Replace IMAGELINK with the direct link to the imgur image.

As I said before, doing it this way can cause issues with the text, but its the only way I have been able to add images to guides.

I am having the same issue. Started about 2 days ago after the patch. Images in a guide will not upload at all. I uploaded png and jpg in the past without issue.

It's broken. I've submitted an issue to Support with some technical details about the problem, and hopefully they'll get this straightened out. It doesn't have anything to do with the image type or size, just some issues with the behind-the-scenes handling of data they need to fix on their end. The workaround mentioned above works okay for a temporary fix, though clicking on the image to enlarge it causes an error message.
Tried to upload an image to workshop, faced de same problem. Hope volvo will fix dat.

I've been checking and it's still awaiting a fix. There are also a couple workarounds that generally entail forcing the browser to ignore the security behaviors that are supposed to prevent an encrypted page from submitting form data using unencrypted HTTP. The data you submit when uploading a file to the guide or to the workshop also contains authentication information for the browser session. I doubt it's enough to compromise an account, but intentionally circumventing security is really bad practice and defeats the whole point of converting the community site to HTTPS in the first place.

UPDATE: At some point between when I first posted this and now, it looks like the issue has been fixed. The action URLs are updated to HTTPS, and I was able to upload images again without having to jump through hoops. Reloading the guide management page should update the behavior, but in case it doesn't try clearing the browser cache and try again.
