Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup[crawl.develz.org]
played this game for over 20 years, and still play it almost daily.

singleplayer roguelike (but you can play online and have other people watch your game/give advice/spectate/etc)

if u want a steam game that can provide same amount of time... stuff like anarchy online, elder scrolls V: skyrim special edition, fallout 4, grand theft auto V

Thanks! i may buy fallout 4... Just need to see all the steam games before i blow my money!
Only buy during sales - you'll get far better value that way.

Fallout 4, GTA V, Witcher 3, or Skyrim for the major adventures.

Get the full Borderlands package during a major sale will also keep you busy for a long time. Also multiplayer.

I've played Don't Starve and it's too tough to be a relaxing play. Your friends are right.

If you want a great open world survival game for you and your friends go Ark: Survival Evolved. I have a family member who is obsessed by that game.

Baldur's Gate trilogy - an oldie but one of the finest RPG's ever made.

Mass Effect Trilogy. Part 3 is only available on Origin unfortunately.

Tropico 4. Really fantastic city builder.

Castle Crashers. Great online multiplayer but can play solo.

Sonic All Star Racing Transformed. Nearest the PC has got to Mario Kart - fantastic graphics and has split screen options.

You have very few games and for $50 you could really get a lot of top games if you shopped wisely during sales.

Check out my reviews for some more guidance.

The binding of isaac rebirth
plenty of new things to unlock each time,
when you you think you have seen it all.

Tropico 4 have been a personall favorite with modern time dlc that adds better farms and homes. while i have newer touch the single player part the prebuilt maps have keept me busy for a while.

Hi Brycen

Some great deals this weekend,

Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 - 69p each. A long way off my favourite RPGs but you get a lot of game play for your money.

Startopia - 69p. I really loved this little space station simulator. Main campaign is only 6 hours but there's a sandbox mode.

Sleeping Dogs Full Edition - £2.99. "Internal Affairs" the computer game. GTA - Hong Kong. Excellent but flawed cops and robbers simulator.

Batman Arkham Asylum - £3.74. I personally prefer this over the sequel Arkham City - the plot is tighter and the opening - arguably one of the best in gaming.

Oh, and Borderlands 2. I have played a TON of Borderlands. I have played through the original and every major DLC campaign. I have played through Borderlands 2 and every major expansion. I have played through Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. By Borderlands standards though I've only played through once which makes me a novice.

If you have the dosh get and play Borderlands through with your friend first. Borderlands 2 is better - but Borderlands 2 is a far richer game if you've played through Borderlands 1 first.

In relation to the DLC for 1: -

Zombie Island of Dr Ned - VERY good
Mad Moxxie's Underground Riot - arena battles. Missable. Solely useful for the item storage bank at the beginning.
Secret Armory of General Knoxx - the road sections are meh but the battles are great.
ClapTrap's Robot Revolution - okay. I think I was a bit Borderlanded out when I finished this.

Also - the DLC for which it is worth getting GOTY for Borderlands 2 even if you have the base game (in the sale for roughly £8).

Do it in this order:

Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty.
•Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.
•Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt.
•Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep

Captain Scarlett is reasonably good, Mr Torgue campaign is poor but some good bits, Sir Hammerlock got contracted out and is poorest of all, but Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is utterly awesome. Maybe better than the main campaign. Suitable end for the entire Borderlands 2 saga.

S.x.

P.S. Tomb Raider Rise of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 2 or 3 and also Lego Batman also on sale. All have some strong support.

Wow. thanks for all the info dude! ill have to check out the games u mentioned! I need to finish borderlands 2 before i go and get the DLC not sure if im a super fan just yet... I think to spend some time this weekend ill do a terraria run through :)
All Elder Scrolls Games give you that adventure

For good co-op, Don’t Starve Together, Ark Survival Evolved, and Cuphead (only if one of your friends can come over to your place, as it’s a hot seat multiplayer) are all good choices for co-op
Fallout 4 is not that great of a game unless u are prepared to sink hours farming for materials to craft your settlement.

The game is pretty linear and not very rewarding. Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are much better IMO.

With 50 bucks, you can get all 3 on sale plus Bioshock trilogy too. They are awesome!

Some offline games like Far Cry
Skyrim never gets old for me, especially with all the mods available.
