Civ VI loyalty discount?
The launch page for Civ V offers a 75% loyalty discount for Civ VI. But the linked 2K order page still has it at full price. So how do I get the discount?

It seems to be totally bugged for a lot of users. If you search on Google you find threads about the discount not applying back to last year.
2K does not seem to care it seems.

Thanks, Ogami. The really suck thing is that it showed the discount the first time I tried it. Entered my info, hit submit order, never got a code. Now it shows full price. Still trying to find out if 2K charged me...

You might not want to play Civ VI anyway. I hear a lot of people have tried it and went back to playing Civ V. Search the forums for what people are saying. Maybe you lucked out and can just save the money.

They're different games. VI isn't supposed to be a dlc to V as the haters believe. I think VI is way more interesting and fun to play than V. Not getting Civilization VI isn't lucking out, but missing out.

Well, i like both of them. Civ VI is fun but it also has some serious flaws.
The AI is still pretty terrible, even 2 years after release, countless patches and 2 huge addons.

Most criticism of Civ VI seem to center on the bad and nonsensical AI and that is something Civ V definitely does a LOT better.
VI is still fun though, lots of interesting new mechanics.

Yah, maybe, maybe. All I know is there are LOT of people going back to V. I can't say it's a majority, or even a largish minority, just a LOT.

That tells me, if you've already got V, and you're short on funds, maybe you should just stick to V for the time being. Even if you can't ever get a "loyalty discount", rest assured VI will eventually go on sale again and you can save money that way. Maybe in the mean-time, they'll have fixed most of the issues, and make it worth the wait.

Good or not, I would be willing to try it at 75% off. But not full price.

Same thing happened to me, money has left my account pending. Did you get the code or were you charged?

Considering that daveytom1's last post was in this thread, I highly doubt they will reply.
