The Porn games on the storefront.

Just curious whether they're actually legitimately allowed on steam or if they're momentary lapses that then later get caught. Seems wierd for me to Steam to sell that kind of thing but on the other hand a game is a game I suppose.

Wierder to me is that they keep getting to the top sellers lists. Don't know what to think about that...


As an aside, possibly could get this info from a search but that would require wading through literal thousands of results so this is probably easier.

Its entirely possible that its disabled by default for new accounts but inherited the state of the previous "adult" setting which you enabled previously. In fact, I am very sure that's the case.

I doubt it. While that makes sense, when steam introduced the newer privacy settings it completely overwrote your old privacy settings. It's possible they're just stupidly inconsistent because Volvo but as far as I am aware that's their normal way of doing it.

The AO filter is disabled by default, yes. You have to actively change that setting to show AO games in the store.

However certain Hentai games, mostly with the Anime and Visual Novel tag, don't fall under the AO filter, but the Nudity filter (as do Witcher 3 and such games), so those will stay visible.
Though personally I never come across those games on my storefront, discovery queue or wherever.

Pretty much and the joke is. I have those filters set to alllow suchg things and I still don't see that much.

For someone who is supposedly fluent in English you're really having a problem understanding something fairly simple..


Volvo is a joking name for Valve. Valve are notorious for ineptitude and incompetence. You suggest something that is reasonable, and then I say "I doubt it" meaning it might not be true then explain that valve have a tendency towards bizzare decisions using an example. I never even said "If it's bad, it's what valve do", I suggested that you can't assume valve have done the reasonable thing, which is different.


And none of that is hostility anyway. Unless you're so heavily invested in valve that you're taking offence by proxy.
