Elder Scrolls 6 theme ?
I am getting curious and excited about the next elder scrolls game. However, to date we know nothing. Recently, some people have been claiming the following setting. However, it sounds preposterous to me so I just wanted to confirm if that is a hoax.

The ES age has advanced to a renaissance setting but with ES lore elements. In the main trailer, there will be a ship passing through an ocean. The protagonist finds a pendant in the sea depicting Alduin and other dragons that ruled in Merethic era. The captain begins telling the tale of dragons, recap of events of skyrim when one man takes the pendant and throws it in the water. There is a burst and a sea dragon gushes out of the ocean. The ship is wrecked and you are to explore your journey. There are elements of black flag naval combat, customization, renaissance weapons. Music follows the theme of skyrim but in a baroque setting like pirates of the caribbean.

To me such a setting certainly sounds preposterous and definitely borrowing influences from Black flag. Bethesda would never do it. But let's assume if it were true. Would the community be willing to accept it ?

Doesn't sound logical as Bethesda already said ES6 would take place in Elsweyr.

When did they say that? The teaser definitely doesn't look anything like Elsweyr.
Are you sure you're not confusing TES with ESO?
Considering that East Empire Company is headquartered in Morrowind, we might go back to Morrowind if there is some truth!

Elder Scrolls VI is still like 4-5 years away. Bethesda usually have a 3 year gap between releases and Starfield is the next title and has not even a release year yet.

There is no confirmation of any setting or story at all.
We have a few TINY hints at a setting.

These all have a similar feature of "red rocks" only found in the northwest region of Tamriel. This means it almost certainly takes place in one of, or some combination of Orisinium, High Rock, or Hammerfell.

ANYTHING else is fan speculation.

They have to release Skyrim Super Special Edition for the new consoles, then Super Special Edition VR, before they can even think about ES6.
You sir are mistaken!

They're planning to release Skyrim Remastered within a few years it will be skyrim overlayed onto a new graphics engine that won't play nice with windows 10 however it will work almost flawlessly with the next gen consoles.

For thos with the special edition you'll get 10 dollars off purchasing Skyrim Remastered so long as you prepurchase it for $99.99 quite a steal no?

The next installment comes as a marriage simulator so as to complete the Hearthfire DLC allowing for more family interactions buildable furniture and house expansions and the ability to send your now teenage children on quests which opens the opportunity to rescue them or race against time as they're lying unconscious moments from death. A small DLC will follow to allow you to give proper burials and funerals

Then in 3 to 5 years the next big title will be released
By their facebook profile picture, some people say it will be based around blades. Not sure.
