Half-Life 2 episode 3 mod
I've seen references to Half-Life 2 episode 3 with a depiction of Gordon Freeman and Alyx in an arctic setting. I also watched a documentary about Half-Life and how there are modders working to create a Half-Life 2 episode 3. What's up with this?

What's up with what?

You just literally described what you know, and what we could possibly know.

Google is your best friend? There've been dozens of 'half life 3' mods or maps started and abandoned in the last ... many years. None of them are the actual game, nor will they be, unless Valve buys it and publishes it as such. Until then, use RunThinkShootLive and other mod sites and search properly.
Thank you, Zekiran and Hotsauce. Now I know how to connect with the Half-Life community. Peace.
Messaggio originale di ChemicalHarvest:
the original writer of half-life left valve around a year ago and published a short summary of what would have been the story for episode 3 on his blog. he changed the names of everything and everyone up a bit for legal reasons but it was obvious what it was.
now there are 2 major community projects with the goal of turning this story into a full game, project borealis and boreal alyph.

Which has already been linked above, one of them completely dead in the water already.

If you'd read the post Hotsauce made...

This? https://www.projectborealis.com/blog/

Pretty much MIA.

Project Borealis.
It's 99% the kiss of doom for most Half Life mods. trust me on that.
I know I've seen the destructive scenery thing years ago. But color me surprised that it's a newish video.
Heh, yeah that one got a play it now from me, because I love Leon's stuff. What a varied bunch of responses to it though. You do have to know his stuff in order to really appreciate it though. It's in no way canon to anything, even his own works.
