Steam Threaten to close or delete account for dupped and scamming items.
Does the steam send an email when doing this? Some one send me a message that they accidently reported me for something I didn't do. And I have no email on that report. They want me to add Steam Admin to tell them not to do it. I think this is a scam. Here is the link they send to me. (link deleted)

It's a scam. Report and block the accounts.

And remove the link, naming & shaming is not allowed. Seriously, the guy spells it as Steem? :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

The other fake admin account (1 of many from the scammer group) already had the correct spelling removed from the custom URL yesterday.

My questioin is now: Does the company has to send an email to you before and after doing it?
No. They would simply suspend your account and place a big fat support alert on your account.
If they do something wrong, they have to resolve it. At that point you have to realize already that somebody tries to drag you into something.
Report them and spend your time with something of more value.
Steam doesn't DO that, so no.

It's a scam designed to get you to panic and send your valuable items to someone else, and leave you with nothing.
tbh i lost my account to this scammer cause i never saw this before lucky me i got the account back
There is no Steam 'admin' and Valve do not threaten, blackmail or extort users as seen in similar cases. Really old scam this.

Valve employees will never ask you to trade your items to them; this includes users who claim to work for Steam Support.
Users claiming to be a Valve employee, accounts asking to verify your items, and users who send you a message which insist you need to trade your items to them for investigation or security reasons should immediately be reported for trade scams.

I hope you were smart enough not to provide anything to the scammer, or login on a phishing site.
