Why steam doesn't have a genre for puzzle games

but why steam doesn't have a genre for puzzle games, I can only see adventure and indie genre. How can puzzle lovers find my game?

Is puzzle tag equal to puzzle genre? I remember the home page doesn't have a puzzle genre.

Given how terrible the Sale's 'puzzle' ...'section'... was, I agree - the store needs a specifically dedicated puzzle location AND a way to stop weird completely unrelated styles of game from entering it. I forget which one I saw on the sale page under that category but WOW it was not a puzzle game.
