Portable PC for old games?
Is there some PC built to play games on the go? I mean something like the Nintendo Switch, not a laptop. It would be great to play some of the less demanding games in my library without having to find a spot to set my laptop on.

You'd probably be better off asking in Hardware and OSes

Short answer, if you have to ask then not really.

Color me impressed, looks like someone's taking a stab at it.

Does it need to be a PC?
If so then Win2 GPD is the way to go.

If playing certain games that's also on handheld console, then get a handheld console, make it easy on you, and they can be much cheaper.
well i used to own a pc tablet, Acer iconia w4 for school stuff. It's quite small as a typical tablet should be, got 2 gig of ram, and i could run even game like skyrim on low - modded setting. Tho it freezes when things got too demanding. maybe you can find something like that?

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for! A bit expensive, but it performs better than I expected.

Windows tablets are okay, but I really need something handheld that doesn't need to be propped up.

Win2 GPD is Nintendo 3DS on Windows with 6" screen. It might be a choice, but... c'mon, 6" screen! With top resolution 1280x720! Well... maybe, if you need a device just for gaming and only certain games. Because, you know, UI. Even if this thing can run Skyrim, on 10" tablet you wont have any problems, and even 8" is okay. But 6"... not mention it costs 600$

Anyways, good luck with your choice.

Heh, yeah. But in modern days you can easily find win-tablets with 8Gb RAM. Even Chuwi blasphemy has 4Gb.
when i say "something like that" i was referring to the type of tablet not the spec. of course the standard spec would prob be higher nowadays, mine was from like 5 years ago.
You can install Dosbox on any modern tablet. Add a wireless keyboard and you have a perfect way to play older games.

There are also lots of Andoid devices with physical buttons well suited for emulation.
FWIW there are also some small laptops with like 11" screens.
