Currently the half life series ends at half life 2 episode 2.

I have played a mod for half life 2 called the closure which I suspect is as close to an episode 3 as we are likely to get.

Half life 3 is now a standing joke, how long as it been since half-life 2 (13/14 years ?). But I do believe to myself that valve are working on it.
