Store Search: Why is it so Bad?

Why is the store search so bad? You'd think it would be a high priority, for the people at Steam to make it easy to search for a game you'll probably purchase.

For example, I wanted to search for the game "Ostriv". I typed in "Os", and a few games came up, like "Ostrich". Then I expanded my typing to "Ost", and "Ostrich" went away. At that point, there weren't any games listed at all.

Then I went down to the global game search, and typed in "Ost", and it said, "sorry, no games found," or something like that. Why are there no games found with "Ost", when you said earlier that you had "Ostrich"?

bc theyd rather over improve things that dont need to be fixed then fixing things that could be fixed.. typical attuide for big companys, their group search is broke too.

That happened to me yesterday when I was searching for nba 2k18. I typed nba and nothing showed up. Then I went on my regular browser and it showed up fine. So, something with the steam client store browser.
