Visual Novel Recommendations Please?

Hi :D

I know absolutely nothing about Visual Novels. I started looking into them when I played Doki Doki Literature Club - and really enjoyed it.

I then picked up Sunrider Academy, and the other two Sunrider games (and uncensored them). I also picked up The House in Fata Morgana, which I am finding OK, but I don't like the writing in certain parts(seems overly dramatic, in a bad way) and it's fairly linear (no choices or anything around 3-4 hours in). I'll keep going through it because I kind of like the art style though.

I also enjoyed the Starnova demo (the denpasoft version). I thought the writing was funny and clever, despite some typos and one or two awkwardly worded sentences.

Furthermore, I tried out the Crystalline demo and found the writing and characters endearing.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any more mature, well-written/cleverly written Visual Novels.

I would really like one that has more interaction than just clicking through dialog too!

Oh, and I won't find any content offensive, regardless of whether it's graphic violence, language etc., so please don't filter suggestions based on that!

I like cutesy art styles, and I also REALLY like the more realistic and gritty kind (I can't think of an example from the VNs I have looked at, sorry D: ).

Also, I strongly dislike censorship of any kind...which is why I have passed on some of the Steam versions of games that lack uncensor patches.
