Suggestions, Rise of Tombraider, Pray, or Evil within 2?
Ok so i know these are different games overall. And im into both horror games and survival with a good story. I enjoyed resident evil 7 a lot and also almost finished Tombraider (2013). I saw all 3 are on sale now, not sure which of the games i would get the most out of for the price? Any suggestions?:)

Watch a couple of let's plays of these games, it's a bit hard to give a useful answer when it's tied so closely to personal taste in things. :)
As far as I'm concerned I would go with this order of preference: Prey > EW2 > Tomb Raider

Yeah, get the game that YOU want to play. What's the point in getting the game that I would play? Or someone else in general?

For me, Tombraider is on the shopping list. The other two are not.

Did you enjoy Tomb Raider (2013)? Did you wish to have more crafting, a bit more open world, way less QTEs, and some sneaky beaky like levels? Then get it.

Prey is more of a straight forward shooter, i enjoyed it too, but it's a different game.

EW2 - sadly never played :(

So... it depends on you, who would have thought.

Cheers guys :) yes i know that its all about taste, i think i would like all three games to be honest if i take into account what i normally like to play. Sometimes its good to know from people playing them if they have any bad experiences with it or good experiences with it so its easier to make up your mind. Thats all :) If i know someone has similar taste for example and they love a game i am keen on playing it might tip me more in that direction. Also now considering the prices over the sale maybe some of them are good value and some are not, considering the length and playtime of the game etc. Also interested to hear about that.

Prey is fantastic. If you mean the 2017 version, I mean. I'm just about to finish my 2nd full playthrough of it and nearing 100 hours, it's beautiful. It's far from a "straightforward shooter" in that it is a very strong 'spiritual successor' to System Shock, in ways that Bioshock utterly failed to be.

Tomb Raider is a radically different game, way more action oriented, so if you want lots of button mashing, and the fun of that franchise, that's fine.

Haven't played EW2 but it does look very good, more spooky than either of the others, probably more gritty, but also probably a little 'weirder'.

Rise of Prey Within sounds like a campy psychological horror that's so bad, it's good.

I'd get Tomb Raider.

PREY(2017) is brilliant. The second most fun i had this year in a game, right after Nier :Automata.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a good game if you liked the first one but just more of the same.
Evil Within 2 is far superior to its predecessor ( in my opinion) but has a lot of technical problems and no further patches in sight. So be careful there. It does not run well on all systems.
Luckily there is a free demo of the first few hours available on Steam.

So i would recommend PREY > Rise of T.R > Evil Within 2
in this order. But all are good games.
