Steam F12 ingame screenshots quality
when i play video games on steam i play on max graphics most of the time, i see a nice view i wanna to make memory of i click F12 i get sound effect of photo camera to confirm i took a screenshot, then i quit game i see my screenshots that i can pick to upload into steam gallery, but quality is reduced a lot it looks like i played on medium or lower graphics jagged edges colors are worse than ingame.. :(

does steam compress image and reduce quality or i have messed up with steam settings ?

[Steam > Settings > In-Game]
When a screenshot is taken
:correctamundo:
Save an uncompressed copy

Then set the folder those uncompressed screenshots go to with the above button.
[Screenshot folder]

Or just use a different program to take the screenshots with.

well maybe in future valve will allow it , i think thats too much traffic for high quality screenshots to be transfered into servers.

I usually just tamper with my screenshots.vdf file, that's why I have NVIDIA Ansel taken screenshots of Hellblade on my profile for example.

It's more than just a few clicks though.
My solution has been using OBS studio. Once you get it set up (not all that difficult, there are guides online) you can just right click the output in OBS and choose "screenshot source" and voila! Or you can map a keyboard shortcut and you don't even have to do that! :D
