Is there any way to check if gift card code is valid?
Hello guys.I am not new to Steam but I have never bought before a Steam gift card-wallet code.
So yesterday I purchased one code online and they gave me the code but I want to test if it is working because I will not use it for myself. It is a gift for one very good friend of mine. So,is there any way I can test a steam wallet code so as to see if it is valid-activated-working???
Thanks a lot! :)

If the code is legit or not, that depends on which website you bought it from.

Yeah but I have seen many times that even trusted store codes that are selled wrapped in the folder don't work so....

If I go to "Redeem a steam wallet code" here http://prntscr.com/dqmhwm and I enter the code and press continue,it will add the funds at once? Isn't even from there possible to test it out? :/

Wrapped cards are usually gift cards or some sort of prepaid cards.

There is no feature on Steam to verify codes.
Once you enter that code in, its activated to the Steam account. I would send that code to your friend and wait. I think that's all you can do. If it doesn't work, you take that matter up with the website you bought it from. The only time you can "dispute" something with Steam support is if you buy "it" on Steam.

Ohh,okey then, thanks for your time and your help :)
