Scammers.
Scammers are becoming an ever-increasing issue in steam, I have three or four add me every day and even after reporting each one with sufficient evidence for a trade ban or any other kind of ban, nothing is done. Is Valve ever going to do anything about this problem?

1. Your comment makes very little sense
2. Valve should really do something to protect their users against scammers.

EDIT:
I'm not just another one of those salty kids who falls for scams, I have never been scammed so far.

They already did.

Valve can't protect People for their stupidity and greediness.

What Valve has done clearly isn't enough to prevent this as it is worse than ever right now. Even after reports with more than enough evidence for a ban, nothing will change.

It won't change anything at all no matter what they do. Only stupid People get scammed.

You can't fix stupidity.

Actually banning scammers, or even using SteamRep's database to identify and ban scammers would make a tremendous difference, they could even crack down on fake gambling sites too, there is a lot Valve could do, but clearly not a lot they are willing to do.

No third-party sites were ever officially supported. Some gambling websites were already shut down because of Valve.

Valve is not responsible if People are using third-party sites at all.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions / ideas for Valve regarding this matter, feel free to post it in the Suggestions / Ideas Forum.

It isn't just third party sites that people are using to scam, they use middlemen, impersonation, item verification and that is to list but a few techniques scammers use.

Which is already known since the trade features was introduced.

I see your point about Valve not being able to save people from their stupidity, but it's not just stupid people who are fed up of scammers. The fact that they can just set up another account and start again infuriates most people, so maybe hardware bans are a way foward.

If you mean HWID's, they can be spoofed same as IP's.

Most scammers aren't that intelligent, that was pretty obvious.
But nonetheless, that's a good point

What would you like them to do about scammers? Ban them? Steam accounts are free so people will make as many as they want and continue to try to scam people. IP banning them is not even effective because there are public wifi hot spots all over the place as well as proxy servers that people can use to change their IP address easily and just continue to try to scam people. Valve could certainly spend a lot of money hiring an army of customer support representatives and having them flail their arms at scammers, but in the end the problem is not going to go away no matter what they do.

At least bann their IPs so they have to use proxy and public IPs. Otherways, they dont even have to move from their houses

Banning IP's is pointless and only time wasting.

Just restart your router and there you, see? not much effort.
