Christmas Sale

Anyone know when is the Christmas Sale for Steam? I've been planning to buy steam cards, but I don't know when is the date.

Totally missed the black friday deals on steam due to being unable to load the store page.
Had loads on my wish list to buy and everything else on steam worked but the store.
Now the sales are over, suddenly the store is working again with no intervention from me.
The question is, will the store go down again on the 22nd of December and block me from buying games I could not afford at the full price?
After all, we are only renting these games from Steam and we will lose them if Steam decides to fold. Even though they are selling these games at full retail prices.

Steam folding is ... unlikely. Currently they sit astride a river of wealth, one that is increasing substantially year on year. They'll probably outlast me (E.T.D. 25 yrs).

Fair enough. I just felt more involved in the sales when they were happening with the voting etc. I didn't know it was causing issues.

To be fair, it caused issues for people with time constraints too. If people missed it, they felt cheated and left out of the sales best aspects. Especially since some sales on happened during hours where, in some time zones, you'd be sleeping or working.

I do think Valve need to make a massive change to sales events and make them more engaging again, but flash sales aren't the answer unless they make it more fair.

Yeah this is extremely annoying. I have no use for a smart phone and even if I did I would not want the expense right now. Seriously Steam needs to drop this bull.

sale starts on the 22nd bud it was already establish and it ends on January 2nd

for people with out a smart phone, all you have to do is install the SDK from google and you have a Android Vm , or you can use blustacks. both options are fairly easy and there are dozzens of guides on line for it. Follow them and you will be able to trade to your hearts content.
