Looking for an offline games that let you create a character.

I know that there are many online games that let users create characters, but I am looking for a game that allow users to create characters and use them offline. Which games would you recommend that have that feature?

I don't think there would be an online game that lets you use characters offline as well, because of the potential for abuse. There are single player games with character creation.

Elder Scrolls series, Fallout series, Dragon Age.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is probably the most mmo like singleplayer game, since itwas originally going to be an mmo.

I didn't mean it has to be an online game. It can also be an offline game.

Well, the classics are quite nice, I had a lot of fun when I was younger with neverwinter nights:
