Games like Megaman Legends?

Megaman Legends is my favorite game, period, and I've never found anything with quite the same flavor. Does anyone have any recommendations? I also enjoy things like Spyro, Jak and Daxter, etc... It feels like modern 3D platformers are largely oversaturated with content, or get too complilcated. I just want something simple and sweet. I really enjoyed The Last Tinker.

I remember Keiji Inafune was thinking of making a spiritual successor called Red Ash, except that project got embroiled in the controversy surrounding Mighty No. 9 and so never got anywhere, sadly.

But as for 3D platformers...have you tried this game?

This one's a 3D action platformer.

And there's Yooka-Laylee, which I've heard is a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. I haven't played it myself though.

There's also Ys Seven, which I'm not sure is a platformer as much as an action RPG, though aside from specific requests you can't go wrong with the Ys games anyway, even though I haven't played this particular Ys game myself. The other ones on Steam play like the top-down Zelda games but with more emphasis on the action and with RPG elements.

I also want to mention The Girl and the Robot, Forward to the Sky, and a few others that I think I have, but I haven't actually played them yet either.
