Star Wars Best of PC?
Hi all, I've had the Star Wars Best of PC disc set for several years now and have just been playing them on my old computer. I came to college and got steam and finally can play all these other games now. I'm really quite excited about it, but I'm not exactly sure if or how these same games can be played through steam. I know they are available on steam to buy separately, but seeing as I already own them, why would I spend the money twice? Another dilemma of mine is i would like to have them available to mod and experiment with that, but I'm not exactly sure how seeing as if it's not through the steam platform. However, I also am not sure if it makes a difference. Can anyone give any insight on any of this? Only curious and seeking information.

If you want the games on Steam you have to buy them again on Steam. Its that simple. You can still play your old disc version outside of Steam of course.
But VERY few publishers give you a free copy of their game on Steam if you own the old non Steam disc version. Barely a handful games overall.

If the games have Steam Workshop support for mods then you need to own the Steam version to be able to download and use those mods.
But most mods are available outside of Steam on other sites.

You need to get Starwars Rouge Squadron 3D. Not moddable as much...but fun.

The KOTOR series is heavily modable for the Steam versions. So is Dark Forces.
