not receiving email verification code to sign into steam.
the last four days I've been trying to get into my steam since I've spent money on that account. yes I've checked my spam folder and the other boxes on gmail but i'm not receiving the code. i also used different emails even some of my friends but i can't find a solution no matter what i do. i also tried disabling it but i cant on the website. any help would be great right about now because i dont know what to do anymore.

And (given you actually use e-mail Steam Guard; and not SGMA), have you added those addresses to your e-mail whitelist / contacts?

No mention of that anywhere in your starting post.

I've gotten emails from them months earlier and yes I've added them as a contact and white listed them. it'd make no since if gmail just now decides to block emails coming from steam.

Quite honestly that's exactly what happened with Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail back in the days. So it wouldn't actually be that farfetched.

Although I use Gmail and I get my Steam related e-mails just fine. Given you haven't, check the Promotional -tab anyway; and/or click [All e-mails] and see if there's anything?

i just checked it and nothings there other then messages from Facebook and EA. it gives me email to give me the code for the email change verification but it doesn't send the code so i can sign in. i looked at things on google and youtube but it says i need to be in the app on my computer just to disable it fully.

That would suggest Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator is activated on your account.

In which case login codes are sent to the Steam Mobile app, not to your e-mail address.

After all, backup codes can be used in place of the time sensitive authenticator codes.

I'm starting to get this feeling you didn't request those backup codes yourself.

You can print backup codes here (when signed in; using the authenticator code): https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Signed out, you can either attempt to remove the authenticator here (with the recovery code; or the SMS code): https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithLoginInfo?lost=8&issueid=402

Or you'll have to contact Steam Support with proof of ownership.

i requested them a head of time but now i cant sign into the mobile authenticator and the app so now im locked out of both since they both require me to use the email code to sign in. and it gives me a timed code at the bottom of the screen with my account name but i gives me a sign in menu.

If the code you're given in the authenticator doesn't work, ensure your phone's date, time and timezone are set correctly and are to update automatically.

Otherwise, please do as I said above and refer to the Help Desk -page. If push comes to shove, contact Steam Support.

i have non of the things required to prove owner ship. i can't login into my mobile authenticator. i don't know what to do at this point nothings working. it think theres a glitch with my account. is there some type of way to restart something or a way to call the company themselves to help with my problem? i honestly think this is hopeless now and im afraid of logging out of this now because im afraid i wont be able to get back into the browser

No phone number you could call in this case.

Attempt this (on a browser you're not signed into Steam with):
https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithLogin
 • I deleted or lost my Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator
 • %AccountName%
 • Text an account verification code to my phone number ending in 'xx'.

You really should've written down the recovery code when you were explicitly told to do that (and given 30 seconds that you couldn't skip precisely so you would.)

See if you can perform the restoration to your phone number.

EDIT
Well, you could avoid the 15 day cooldown by performing the transfer via SMS.
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8625-wrah-9030#transfer

Even though it's not the same exact purpose for why you do it.
