Private chat linkfilter whitelist?

So, I've been using the steam friend chat as the primary means of messaging my friends for about a decade now, ever since The Orange Box. However, recently the link-filtering in the private chat has kicked it up a notch and gone full LINK REMOVED on ♥♥♥♥♥ image/webm links, which is significantly disrupting. It used to do the ol' 'this isn't an official steam site" click-through thing which was annoying, but tolerable, but now we have to do trash like add spaces or line breaks and copy and paste links like we're ♥♥♥♥in' scamming each other. Is there any way to whitelist domains on the user-end so that it doesn't LINK REMOVED domains I know are trustworthy?

Right, there shouldn't be just a box that disables the link filter entirely. But a user-controlled white-list to allow individual domains that have been falsely flagged would be nice. Rather than an option that allows even unfamiliar sites, having to put in a domain yourself to white-list probably means you've already gone there? I dunno, I'm no security wizard.
Still, 4ch doesn't deserve to be completely Link Removed like it still currently is.

Wont change much. Scumbags would provide, before shooting over the malware, shoot a quick tutorial how to add their malware peoviderto thr white list.

Seems there are some leftovers. We're discussing it internally.

They're aware of the issue, at least.

Edit: As of 11/5/17 4ch links are no longer falsely flagged as malware and blocked in private communivations.
