What's a Good Call of Duty Game for Single Player?

Got any recommendations for a Call of Duty game that is good for single player....like both in terms of campaign and like any extra mode stuff that can be played single player?

Now unlike the others I wouldn't say none of them are good for campaign. If you are looking for a good COD game for story, definitely stick to modern warfare 2 or 1, those games are some of the better in terms of story, though go in with a grain of salt, it is still however a COD game. hope this helped ;)

I liked COD "Advanced Warfare". Those that find COD to stressful or difficult will say "None of them".

Best ones campaign wise, the upcoming WW2 title looks promising as well.

The original, United Offensive and CoD2. Anything after that isn't great...I enjoyed some of World At War SP but only a couple missions.

Most of the Call of Duty campaigns are only 6-8 hours long but Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops are all very good and worth experiencing.

The Black Ops titles along with World at War also have additional zombies modes which can be played solo. The games from Black Ops 2 onwards also have full bot support for sampling multiplayer 'offline' which can be enjoyed on your own.

The COD games are also on sale right now at Humble Bundle https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/activision-summer-sale/ although they are still pretty pricey.

From what I've played, most of them can be enjoyable. I'd recommend CoD4 and BO over the others, though.

Surprisingly, it's one of the best campaigns in recent years despite all the flack regarding the setting. The terrible MP sank the product as a whole but the campaign is definitely worth experiencing and can take between 10-12 hours which is the longest in the series. It also offers difficulty settings beyond veteran too for additional replayability and has zombies also.

IMO World at war was the best single player COD game
