Im bored of games now!?!?

Yeah im bored of games. I only have FPS games and its getting boring to even play them. Wondering if i should take a break or if i should try another type of game, but lately ive been gettting really bored of playing my games.

New types of games could be interesting for you. Taking a break can also help. In the end games are supposed to be fun. If you aren't having fun then you need to find something else to do. It shouldn't feel like a chore.

If you haven't played them you may like Bioshock and Portal. They have interesting stories. Undersea dystopia and evil laboratory you need to escape.

both of you guys are right. But im just addicted. I think i need to find another genre. maybe something other than FPS. and thats free. Do you guys know of a game that isnt FPS that is free to play and also fun?

as a gaming addict, can't see this as being an issue lol but, maybe watch youtube videos dude. There is so much good ♥♥♥♥ on there, from game skits, to gaming movies, gaming related content that is really enjoyable

as for FPS only gamer, try new games, side scrollers shocked me as being a new expirience, one example, MAX: curse of brotherhood, fantastic game, as was THE CAVE, I think if you stick to one genre, it is natural you will get bored, but if you expirience with gaming, find new things, or even try new things, you will find more you didn't know you loved, even point and click, trust me, you'd be surprised

Eternal Senia. Story-centric action RPG. Actually Free (as in not just free but with microtransactions). Dunno if it's your taste...but hey, it fits your criteria at least.

In any case, maybe you just need a break from gaming. Make sure you're not playing games simply to pass the time, but instead ask yourself whether you're actually enjoying what you're doing.

Of course, if you find yourself totally immersed that you forget to ask this, that's probably a good thing.

But if you do find yourself asking this question, just go out. Take a walk. See how many different kinds of insects you can find. (Kinda like Pokémon Go but with actual real-life animals lol) Or something like that. Go to a library or coffee shop or a bookstore or a supermarket and browse or sit down or whatever. Or read a book for that matter. Lots of good nonfiction books, as well as fiction. Can even go watch a movie or something, if you're dying for more fiction. I recommend against trying to use home TV watching to replace gaming, though.

Speaking of books, if you're specifically looking for something to that you can buy on Steam, try a visual novel. They have a reputation for being smutty crap, but if you're interested in some that aren't smutty crap but instead have actually well-written stories, I can recommend a few.
