HOW TO BLOCK AN ACCOUNT ( MY OWN ACCOUNT WHICH WAS STOLEN)

Hello ! Good day everyone i just want to ask something on how can i block or lock my account that is now being used by the "hijacker" or "hacker" he was able to change the email and the mobile number that associated to my account and i want that account now to be block so he wouldn't use it anymore? is it possible to do it? thanks

You need to regain ownership of the account. If you're in no position to do that. then honestly no one has any reason to believe you are the owner of the account and not some trouble maker trying to cause misery to the rightful owner.

i tried it to recover but still the hacker found a little hole and hack again the gmail account that i newly linked to my steam account . so for now i dont have an access to the email that the hacker put on it . so am i not able to lock it ?

That's not finding a hole, that's you failing to secure your pc/email after the first compromise.

Before you do ANYTHING else, you need to change any and all passwords from a SEPERATE device. Then you should just reformat your pc as clearly whatever you did before didn't work.

i change already my email there but still he was able to hack that email of mine and i admit it that was my fault but all i need for now is some help on how can i do something on it . i hope someone will take an action on my issue. :( thanks

thanks for the guy who send me the link on how to lock it. i now locked my account using "self locking tool" but the only question on my mind where will be this self locking tool send an email on how to unlock and find the unlock code for it .because i found message in my own original email that originally linked on my steam before . that is the first email i used. i found the "Lock Account" option there. but the problem is the "hacker" remove that first email of mine on my steam account . so is there a chance that this self locking tool will send an unlock code to "hacker's" newly put email ? Thanks

Now read and understand everything else I said. Your PC is still infected, that is why the "hacker" was able to access your email again after you changed the password.

yeah later i will reset it . but can you answer my question above about self locking tool. where this one will send an email to unlock and give the code? on my email in where i found that Lock Account button or to the newly created email from the hacker that linked to my steam account now.? because i dont have an access to that email because that is his own email. but the Lock Account button i found it to the message on my original email that 1st email that linked to my steam account

The help page seems to indicate that the self-locking tool will provide the unlock code on screen and will not send this as a email to you (or anyone else) you have to record that unlock code manually otherwise nobody will have it (and Steam Support will have to unlock the account themselves).

So he will get an email indicating the account is locked, but not the code to unlock it.

how can i know guys if my steam account was already locked? because its on the hand of hacker. so i have no clue if that hacker can unlock it using the email that he linked on it .. thanks

Your worry should be:
Someone can gain access to your details.

No one can just hack one email account, let alone twice.

Your computer is remote accessed.

About your steam account, once locked it requires proof of purchase to unlock it by support. Save your computer, your emails, your accounts your details. Then contact support
