I need low spec multiplayer games for low spec friends

Just need some good recommendations
I have a friend who's fun to play with but sadly has a terrible computer that lags even when we try to play something like terraria (Rubberbanding lag not fps lag), we generally play speedrunners or brawlhalla which is fun but I still feel 2 games just isn't much choice, please no competetive fps games as those are generally one sided, maybe something like l4d2 but that might be pushing his pc to the limit, thanks for the advice :3

i would suggest league, and no im not a bid fan i have 1 hour but my 600$ comp can run it at 90 fps on highest setting so you could play that

Try Battlefield 2,but the only issue is trying to find an original install of the the game,and if you are willing to torrent it go on RARBG found an unpatched install so you can launch it with BF2Hub

If your friend's computer can't even run multiplayer Terraria at full speed, then we're talking either weak hardware or a weak connection, so real-time stuff is probably out.

That said, with Terraria, I've had experiences where a computer can run it fine in 800x600 windowed, but not fullscreen, nor anything bigger than 800x600.

You may need to disable the minimap because the minimap is too big for 800x600. Other than that, it's perfectly playable. I do it.



Meanwhile, you can't really go wrong with this turn-based multiplayer game.

It even remembers which player you were if you get disconnected, so it'll put you back in the player slot you were in.

Thanks for the help anyway haha, they've gotten slightly better specs since two years ago, and we've been messing around with Brawlhalla and L4D2, thanks for the help anyway!
