I need low spec multiplayer games for low spec friends

Just need some good recommendations
I have a friend who's fun to play with but sadly has a terrible computer that lags even when we try to play something like terraria (Rubberbanding lag not fps lag), we generally play speedrunners or brawlhalla which is fun but I still feel 2 games just isn't much choice, please no competetive fps games as those are generally one sided, maybe something like l4d2 but that might be pushing his pc to the limit, thanks for the advice :3

Left for dead 2's minimum specs is a pentium 4 whoch is more than 10 years old at this point and the recommended specs are a core 2 duo clocked at 2.4ghz and a NVidia 7600. If your friend has a modern system he should be able to run it condsidering that i ran it on a laptop with an i3 and intel hd 4400 graphics.

his specs are worst then my previous pentium IV and it's geforce 7800 gs ? because it was the kind of PC that was having a hard time running anything over 800x600 in resolution.

with a better Idea of what kind of computer he has you will get more reccomendation that will fit what you seek.

-edit ... maybe there is Broforce he could try , the Expandabros game serve as a demo version that he can try to see if his PC will run the game.

Ty but the terraria thing should explain it, it's just an old computer, it doesn't run games that need a lot of, well, I don't know exactly what to call it, "Multiplayer input" Just more basic games that don't need much information from other online players (Speedrunners and brawlhalla)

it doesn't help as we don't know why terraria doesn't run very well on his PC ... maybe the cpu is a bit slow but the graphics card is not that bad , maybe it's the other way around ...

and just saying old is a bit subjective.

I also had a second look at my games and if you like retro RPG games there is nestalgia that can be played online and that should run on a toaster.

I know your pain bro; try Civilisation 3, Realm of the mad god (free to play), Baldurs gate, Diablo 2, Unturned, Stronghold Crusader. Also you can check out Gog.com they have lots of low spec games really cheap, you might find something interesting.
