Level 420?
I wonder how much 300$ or 500$ will get me through in Steam levels, currently at 64.

depends wat you get and what it cost wait for sales like spring summer and winter and holiday sales to get most for lest ore go to humblebundle and get like 3to 6 games for one price up to you this just a idea and they do have sales also

I guess no sale is close in time as far as I know.. Guess I will wait, but why buy games.. I can buy trading cards without the games themselves or is there a bonus?

I talked to a guy who had level 600+ and he said it cost him 15K... so

It's not about set price, it's about booster pack discount and the willingness to be patient to trade your dupes away later.

No you have to look on the steam trading card tools for the low price sets coupled with the booster pack discount. For example, a $0.31 set that has a booster pack discount of 40% will only cost you $.19 to make.

You are going to get duplicate cards, that's part of life. You can trade those on the trading card forum to complete your sets.
