Game Like Age of Mythology

Hey guys. I have been enjoying Age of Mythology lately and have been wondering if there are any games that are like that but focused in the modern world with modern weapons and machines. I have looked up RTS games placed in the modern world but have not seen one to my liking. I just want to find a game where I can build up and attack other settlements like age of Mythology only with modern day things. Please if you know of games like this please tell me. Thank you in advance for your help!

Rise of Nations will eventually get you to the modern age.

If WW2 is modern enough for you then Company of Heroes is a great RTS game.

Age of Empires .It's kind of like what you're saying, but it's a little bit different .I haven't played the game, I just know it .
