Hello guys, im going to give u a list of some games and u pls tell me if they support 4K resolution or they will be rescaled and thus image quality disturbed.

I would be rly aprititated for help, some of those games a played little bit, others not at all, so i have my configuration but only problem is my monitor. Can't decide w/ take 4K 60hz or 1440p 144hz, cuz i want to play those older games i havent' played.

http://www.wsgf.org/ can tell a lot about how good games perform in 4K. Although I made the experience that generally most games can be played in 4K resolution. Some of them need workarounds and in some cases, the specific engine simply refuses to play nicely. In short don't always trust the public opinion in matters concerning 4K as most of the people talking about have no personal experience and are just repeating what they've heard elsewhere.

Most of the games in your list are rescaled to 4K. NFS:MW doesnt even offer 1080p.

Only for GTA V and Crysis 3 I can say and being absolutly sure that they support native 4K.

All if not most of the GoldSrc games on Steam support 4K. Games like Half-Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, CS 1.6, etc.
