Why is my refund taking so long???
I refunded days the same day I got it and played it for 16 minutes. I want the 30 back to put it towards another game. Like why is steam support being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Anyone know how long it takes? For steam money refund not to my debit.

Is the game you want to buy now currently on sale?

Steam Support *CLEARLY* states that it may take upto 7 days for your refund. Although it doesn't usually take that long unless there is a problem on the developers side or something similar, but if u qualify for a refund than you will get it, you just have to wait a bit.
I think debit/credit cards also usually take a day or two to process things.

You will be issued a full refund of your purchase within a week of approval. You will receive the refund in Steam Wallet funds or through the same payment method you used to make the purchase. If, for any reason, Steam is unable to issue a refund via your initial payment method, your Steam Wallet will be credited the full amount. (Some payment methods available through Steam in your country may not support refunding a purchase back to the original payment method.)

1-2 days to get a answer to your refund request, then up to 7 days till the money is back on your Steam Wallet. Up to 14 days if you refunded to a method outside of Steam like credit card/bank/paypal.

Lack of financial planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on Steam's part

I don't get that last part as steam doesn't give you money back, but rather credits your account, so there's no need to get your bank or paypal involved (as the credit doesn't get back through them).

If you payed directly for the game with an outside source with your paypal account or your credit card that money gets deducted from your paypal/credit card and sent to Steam. If you then refund, Steam needs to send that money back to your paypal/creditcard which takes a lot more time then simply refunding it to your store credit wallet.
That is why you can choose when asking for a refund if you want to refund to the original payment method or the Steam wallet.

It takes 2 days to just approve it but they sure didn't waste time denying my request a couple days ago for playerunknowns battleground because I played it for more than 14 hours. For that it took like 20 minutes for them to say no

Rubberstamping an obvious denial is always going to be faster than answering a reasonable refund request.

That refund got denied quickly because there was an automated bot which saw that it was not elligible for refund, where as for this current refund, there is alot hastle steam has to go through because it is possible for the developers to withdraw the money you gave them for the game. You shouldn't really bad mouth steam, rather you should be happy since they are the only official game retailer who allow refund as far as I know. A few days of waiting won't kill you.
