buying steam accounts (hypothetical question)
I'm curious, and there isn't anything online that is in an way coherent. (unless i'm looking in the wrong places) I was wondering that if you ever bought a steam account, you log in, change the email and password to something completely different than it started off with, would the original owner still have complete control over the account? seen as he is the one that knows the first known passowrd or the first card number that was registered to an account etc.

Also, what extent of information about an account would someone need in order to gain access to said account. I'm testing how SAFE it actually is to buy an account. Any answers that can be raised is greatly appreicated, thank you. You da' best

How you read text online can be percieved in a vast array of ways. My intention was not to "Phish" for information about how to scam people, in fact, contrary to your belief; i was curious. I wanted to ask the question to feed my curiosity.

Either way, you've been given an answer (not safe).

You've also been told the problems with it. So if I were you at this point i'd unsub from the thread and leave it.
