With regards to game complaints I think that can bring up some interesting discussions at times, even more so if the game does suffer with problems or players put forward suggestions the devs might never have considered.
1. Alice is bored on the internet. Alice posts vaguely inflammatory remark on the internet because it's vaguely amusing.
2. Bob is bored on the internet. Bob browses a forum. Bob sees Alice's comment, and disagrees with it. Bob posts vaguely inflammatory remark in reply to Alice because it's amusing.
3. Charlie sees Alice's and Bob's remarks. To Charlie, Alice and Bob look like they're being serious, and also seriously being obnoxious idiots. Charlie happens to stand on Alice's side, though, so Charlie flames Bob in response.
4. Diane sees Charlie flaming Bob, but Diane is on Bob's side, so Diane flames Charlie in response.
5. Alice sees Diane actually flaming her apparent ally Charlie on the thing that she cares about, so Alice flames Diane.
6. Bob sees Alice apparently taking this seriously because she reposted, and so Bob flames Alice.
And so on.
This is one way that "ironic" jokes become actual insults. See now you start to have two sides coalescing and then battle lines become drawn and now you have PC elitists vs. console elitists for example.
Quite possibly the best synopsis of the social aspects of the internet I've read. =)
What?
Can you be a little more specific?

Everyone has to learn and considering that player only had 5 hours in the game you calling them a noob and then trying to make that claim against other players makes me think you're not a nice person when you're in a game and people don't play how you want.
LOL @ this post: http://steamcommunity.com/app/550/discussions/0/135514649163964720/
I wouldn't have insulted him if he never randomly votekicked me. He then was arrogant over me telling me he was the host of the server and telling me stuff like "I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ your mom" and "Go drink bleach" and ♥♥♥♥ like that. No Mercy is a very easy campaign and I only did the speedrunning in the sewers. Before that, I stayed behind during the crescendo event to help them out. It wasn't even a local server, it was an official server, so it's definitley not him paying the bills and fixing it if anything goes wrong.
I want to be surprised but can't.
Why is it I'm not surpriced, when will people learn that posthistory is public available.
No Mercy is an easy campaign for anyone that knows it. a new player does not, have a little patience with people. If you are as skilled as you claim then that shouldn't be a problem.
Oh yeah, l4d2 is known to have lots of noobs in the official servers. I only criticized them by stating how they were worse than the bots. Had they been better than the bots, I would ignore them or tell them to get more practice. I honestly don't care if you're here to troll me, that's one of the reasons why my profile is private.
