Steam Remote Play - Can games use mobile data like GPS and accelerometer?

Hi,
I am wondering if Steam Remote Play would allow the game to use mobile phone's data from its inner devices like GPS, accelerometer or heart rate.

Common activity tracker apps like Strava use phone's data like GPS etc. to track how many km you run or what was your heart rate and saves it to your phone and their cloud. Steam Remote Play lets you play on controllers that has gyro so, the game must receive the data from that and interpret it. Thus, it sounds like it could be possible to collect other data if you played the game on your phone.

What do you think? Could something like this be possible?

That would require Valve to add such data tracking features specifically for that.
