every time i want to gift a game to my friend, always shown "An unexpected error... Please wait a few minutes" what happened here? me and my friend region already same in Indonesia

Your friend needs to check if he/she has enabled receive gifts in his steam account profile.

Are you trying to use your Steam Wallet to buy the gift?

Buying gifts with wallet funds is restricted to prevent commercial activity.

Either contact Steam Support or use an external payment method (credit card, PayPal, Paysafecard,...).

Yes there is. Had to do this myself last year to receive a gift game.

Are you maybe confusing gifting notifications, where you can turn it on/off to show a message in the client when someone sends you a gift.
