Transferring a free to play steam game between accounts in different computers?
Hello guys, so recently i downloaded a 5 gb free to play game. The next day my cousin came to visit me and saw me playing this game, and wanted to play too, but the internet in his house isn't that fast to download this game in less than a day.

I've seen in the game folder inside steamapp/common that the game has steamapp_id (or something similiar to that) and i wonder if it means it can only be used by my steam account or not.

I appreciate any answers. thank you guys for your time :)

From what I know, the games you download and or purchase free or not are tied with your account and the files cannot be transfered between computers. Unless you login on his computer and downloaded the game there you won't be able to launch the game properly there. That is only if the game doesn't require an external login for another companies game, then you could just install it directly from the website the game is from.

My mistake, yes, the game requires an external account
