Best computer to run steam?

I always have trouble with steam. What computer should I use and how fast of internet?

Well, as a general rule to run steam you don't need a very powerful computer. However, the GAMES need a relatively decent computer. You want a computer with at least 4gb of RAM and a non-intergrated graphics card. Google the specs for a game if you are unsure if you can run it.

imac is good for steam, alienware is excellent if you wana run high end games , i run borderlands 2 at 75 fps and max resolution but with low detail and it runs smooth on the 2014 imac :)

iMac is pretty good, but MacBook is terrible for Steam games, since there is a limited selection of games for Mac users, and it is very laggy when you play games on it. Windows computers are great because you get a full selection of ALL games on Steam, and if you have a good working computer, it shouldn't lag much when you play games.
