Isn't the product key for Windows written on your computer case on a sticker?

yeah, but i have to install the window on a diferent hardware because the motherboard wont reconaise the old hardware the one with the virus

i remove virus and work with troyans virus and bonsh other virus, but this one was like a command to remove files like system32 from your hardware, and inject some code and ♥♥♥♥♥ that made the hardware unrecognizable, so when i lauch thepc the bootable system stay in a black screen so i found thats was because no hardware accepted

So a phisher found you. I don't want to argue or anything, but that was your fault for clicking it. Most Steam users are well aware of this ongoing issue, and there's also a forum post (it's here in the New to Steam forum actually) that explains how these phishing methods work.

I can't tell if you're a newbie or not, but next time, be more aware of the situation.

all i do is play ArmA3, so i never look around for news or anything, anyway i trust the guy because ur conversation was about old games, so he give me some links of old games and i click curiously as a big fan of games that was all.

if you buy a pc/laptop with windows installed you technically get two licenses:
1. The one that is installed, they use an universal key in the industry two save time&efford.
2. The one that is printed somewhere on your device. so even if you, as you said, installed windows on a different hardware you could use that printed key to activate your copy, just sayin.

and yes, it works. i used the key from my laptop to acitvate my pc version ^^
