Everytime I open Steam it asks for my permission to continue
Like the title says, everytime i try to open up steam a pop up appears sying "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" Ive been using steam for a few weeks now and i only had to do it once when i first downloaded Steam, but all of a sudden its asking me every time i click on it now. Its very annoying and if anyone has a solution to this problem it would be very much appreciated, thank you. (sorry if im being stupid and this is an easy fix, or i posted in the wrong place)

Also the icon on my desktop had the administrator shield next to it all of a sudden even though i am the administrator and it has permission to run s the administrator.

Right click on the steam icon
Compatibility tab
See if the "Always run as an administrator" is checked.
Uncheck it
Try again

i unchecked it and tried it but it still had the same pop up

UAC of Windows too high?

I checked all that stuff out as well, i never changed it and i have it on the recommended setting for frequently used apps of websites, the only way i can make the pop up go away is to completly turn off that notification, but i didnt think that would be the smartest think to do as I dowload alot of programs, and the administrator shield is still on the desktop icon

yupp i i just uninstalled steam and reinstalled it and it still has the same thing, im currently reinstalling my games again :/

Antivirus or Firewall checking Steam?
It happen only with Steam or even with other programs?

so far its only happening with steam as far as i can tell, and it says that steam is one of my allowed programs through the firewall, but its still asking me for permission everytime i click on the icon
